Lucky Shot doesn't guess what's in your screenshot. It measures it. Every Golden Shot is a gold ball, a cue ball and a target, and where they sit on the felt is a fingerprint.

Find the felt
The rails give the table away. Everything is measured against them, so any phone, crop or compression lands on the same numbers.

Measure the balls
Each ball and the target become a pair of coordinates. Aim lines and cue sticks are thin strokes while balls are solid discs, so they never get mixed up.

Look it up
Your fingerprint is checked against every layout we know. If the closest one is within a hair, you get its video. If not, we tell you rather than guess.

Is this cheating?
No. Lucky Shot never touches the game. It doesn't read the game's memory, change files, automate taps or connect to your account. It looks at a screenshot you choose to upload and shows a video that's already public on YouTube.
What happens to my screenshot?
It's read in memory to find the layout and thrown away when the request finishes. It isn't saved or shared. The privacy policy has the details.
Why does it say my layout is new?
Either the layout isn't in the catalog yet, or the screenshot was hard to read. The result tells you which. A full, uncropped screenshot taken with your phone's screenshot button, with no pop-ups over the table, reads best.
Is it free?
Every free account gets one solve a day, and uploads that don't find a match don't use it. For more than one a day, a plan unlocks unlimited solves. There are no ads on any plan.
